About Me

My name is Brad Laymon and I founded Coding Excellence to help improve coding and documentation for all physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. During my 25 years as a physician assistant and 10 years as a certified professional coder, I have discovered that most clinicians undercode causing a loss of revenue for their practice. My experience as a physician assistant and a certified coder means that I'm fully equipped to guide, support, and assist in excelling with accurate medical coding and documentation. My Coding Excellence program will ensure the greatest consistency and successfulness with choosing a correct level of service for all patient encounters.
